Sensex down 24pts

The Sensex, which opened with a huge positive gap of 39 points at 9,959, zoomed to a high of 9,986 in early deals. The index has now shed all the gains, and is down 24 points at 9,895.

ONGC is down Rs 11 at Rs 1,227. While SBI has slipped Rs 4 to Rs 882, Reliance has dropped Rs 2 to Rs 711. ITC and HLL are also weak.

Tata Steel has slipped over 2% (Rs 8) to Rs 396.

Wipro has declined over a per cent to Rs 523. TCS and Satyam are also trading with losses.
