Sensex down 24pts

The Sensex is now down 24 points at 10,252.

Ranbaxy has surged 4% to Rs 385. Satyam has spurted 2.3% to Rs 701.

HDFC Bank has advanced 1.8% to Rs 744, and Wipro has gained 1.5% at Rs 455.

Tata Steel and Reliance are up over 1% each at Rs 496 and Rs 985, respectively.
