Sensex down 24pts; ITC down 3%

The Sensex is now down 24 points at 13,284.

Larsen & Toubro has rallied 4% to Rs 1,636. Cipla has soared 2.7% to Rs 241, and BHEL has surged 2.5% to Rs 2,285.

HDFC has advanced 1.7% to Rs 1,600. Grasim and Wipro are up over 1% each to Rs 2,106 and Rs 602, respectively.

ITC has slipped 3% to Rs 145. Tata Motors has shed 2% to Rs 789.

HDFC Bank has declined 1.8% to Rs 1,005. Bajaj Auto has dropped 1.5% to Rs 2,530, and Reliance Energy is down 1% at Rs 487.

Out of 2,570 stocks traded so far, 1,439 have declined, 1,036 have advanced and 95 are unchanged.
