Sensex down 24pts; ITC slips 2%

The Sensex is now down 24 points at 13,991.

Larsen & Toubro has surged 1.6% to Rs 1,500. ICICI Bank, Tata Motors and Dr.Reddy's have advanced over 1% each to Rs 905, Rs 949 and Rs 816, respectively.

ITC has shed nearly 2% to Rs 172. Hindalco, HDFC, Bajaj Auto, Grasim, Wipro and HDFC Bank have slipped over 1% each to Rs 178, Rs 1,589, Rs 2,812, Rs 2,808, Rs 614 and Rs 1,055, respectively.
