Sensex down 25pts

The Sensex has declined 25 points to 8,501.

HLL has dropped Rs 2 to Rs 178. ITC is also down Rs 2 at Rs 139. ONGC is up Rs 8 at Rs 1,049. Reliance is flat at Rs 788, and SBI is up a rupee at Rs 929.

Infosys has declined 1.4% (Rs 34) to Rs 2,442, and TCS is down Rs 7 at Rs 1,454. Wipro has slipped 2% (Rs 7) to Rs 369.

Dr. Reddy's has gained Rs 7 to Rs 815. Cipla and Ranbaxy are also trading with gains.

HDFC is up Rs 12 at Rs 1,013. BHEL is up Rs 6 at Rs 1,140. HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank are also trading with gains.
