Sensex down 260pts; breadth marginally -ve

The Sensex is now down 260 points at 20,468.

Bharti Airtel has slumped 6.2% to Rs 851. ICICI Bank has plunged over 4% to Rs 1,349.

Mahindra & Mahindra has slipped over 2% to Rs 740, and Ambuja Cements has dropped 1.7% to Rs 136.

TCS, Larsen & Toubro and BHEL have declined around 1.5% each to Rs 946, Rs 4,106 and Rs 2,439, respectively.

ITC, Reliance Communications and Reliance Energy are down 1.3% each at Rs 222, Rs 795 and Rs 2,443, respectively.

Maruti has advanced 2% to Rs 873, and Tata Motors has added 1% to Rs 773.

Tata Steel is up 1.5% at Rs 852.

Out of 2,807 stocks traded so far, 1,431 have declined, 1,335 have advanced and 41 are unchanged.
