The NSE Nifty is down 67 points at 4,880.
Reliance Communications has plunged 5.6% to Rs 540. Jaiprakash Associates and BHEL have tumbled 4.5% each to Rs 227 and Rs 1,668, respectively.
Reliance Infrastructure has declined 45 to Rs 1,239, and Ambuja Cements has slipped 3.8% to Rs 98.
ITC has shed 3.6% at Rs 206. Maruti is trading at Rs 763 - down 3.4%.
ICICI Bank has dropped 3.3% to Rs 835. Larsen & Toubro and Hindalco have declined over 3% each at Rs 2,755 and Rs 187, respectively.
Tata Steel is down around 3% at Rs 870.
SBI, HDFC, Tata Motors and ACC are the other major losers - down over 2% each.
Infosys has gained 2.7% to Rs 1,876, while Bharti Airtel has surged 2.3% to Rs 856.
TCS is up 2% at Rs 953.
