The Nifty is trading at 4657, down 81 points.
ACC is up 2.4% at Rs 641. Reliance has surged 1.5% to Rs 2,390.
Tata Motors has advanced 1.4% to Rs 570 and Ranbaxy is up 0.9% at Rs 518.
Reliance Infra is down 5% to 1,111. Bhel has declined 4.7% at Rs 1,520. Satyam has lost 4.6% to Rs 494. Jaiprakash is down 4.3% at Rs 202.
Bharti has declined 3.9% to Rs 843. HDFC Bank is down 3.3% at Rs 1,263.
L&T, Infosys, HDFC, Maruti, ITC, NTPC, TCS, DLF and Wipro are the other losers.
