Sensex down 27pts; Bajaj Auto slips 3%

The Sensex is now down 27 points at 14,390.

Maruti has rallied 2.4% to Rs 840. HDFC Bank has added 1.7% to Rs 1,122.

Tata Steel has gained 1.5% at Rs 633. HLL, Tata Motors and BHEL have moved up 1% each to Rs 195, Rs 732 and Rs 2,660, respectively.

Bajaj Auto has shed 2.6% to Rs 2,190. Gujarat Ambuja has slipped nearly 2% to Rs 117.

SBI has dropped 1.7% to Rs 1,324. ITC and Infosys are down 1% each at Rs 169 and Rs 1,943, respectively.

Out of 2,419 stocks traded so far, 1,326 have declined, 1,023 have advanced and 70 are unchanged.
