HDFC Bank, Grasim, Satyam, Larsen & Toubro and Tata Steel have dropped around 2.5% each to Rs 1,123, Rs 2,885, Rs 460 and Rs 2,459 and Rs 636, respectively.
Reliance, Ambuja Cements, Maruti, ACC, Mahindra & Mahindra, Infosys and HDFC are down around 2% each to Rs 1,763, Rs 126, Rs 832, Rs 983, Rs 664, Rs 1,882 and Rs 1,951, respectively.
Ranbaxy up 1.5% at Rs 372 is the sole gainer among the index stocks.
