Sensex down 28pts; HDFC Bank, Wipro weak

The Sensex is now down 28 points at 11,905.

HDFC Bank has slipped 1.5% to Rs 849, and Wipro is down over 1% to Rs 516.

Bajaj Auto, Hero Honda, HDFC, SBI Cipla, Gujarat Ambuja, TCS and ICICI Bank are down nearly 1% each.

Larsen & Toubro has surged 2% to Rs 2,608. Dr.Reddy's and Tata Motors are the other prominent gainers among the index stocks.

The market breadth is neutral - out of 2,039 stocks traded so far, 982 have advanced, 989 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
