Sensex down 28pts; ITC slips 2%

The Sensex is now down 28 points at 14,467.

ITC has shed 1.6% to Rs 162.

Larsen & Toubro, HDFC Bank, Reliance Energy and Gujarat Ambuja have declined over 1% each to Rs 1,943, Rs 1,150, Rs 535 and Rs 113, respectively.

BHEL and Tata Steel have gained 1% each at Rs 1,384 and Rs 643, respectively.

Out of 2,225 stocks traded so far, 1,147 have declined, 999 have advanced and 79 are unchanged.
