Sensex down 28pts; RCom, Infosys drops 2%

The Sensex is now down 28 points at 14,480.

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has soared over 7% to Rs 1,992.

Bajaj Auto, Tata Steel, HDFC and SBI have rallied around 1.5% each to Rs 2,227, Rs 639, Rs 1,841 and Rs 1,342, respectively.

NTPC has spurted over 1% to Rs 163.

Reliance Communications, HDFC Bank, Hindalco, Reliance Energy and Infosys have slipped around 2% each to Rs 509, Rs 1,120, Rs 141, Rs 544 and Rs 1,914, respectively.

ITC has shed 1.5% to Rs 163. Maruti, HLL, Wipro and Grasim are down around 1% each at Rs 810, Rs 200, Rs 534 and Rs 2,485, respectively.

Out of 2,616 stocks traded so far, 1,491 have declined, 1,051 have advanced and 74 are unchanged.
