Sensex down 28pts; Satyam sheds 4%

The Sensex has slipped back into the negative zone and is now down 28 points at 14,154.

Satyam has dropped 3.7% to Rs 470. Reliance Energy has shed 1.5% to Rs 507.

HDFC Bank, Ranbaxy and Gujarat Ambuja have slipped over 1% each to Rs 1,053, Rs 410 and Rs 147, respectively.

BHEL has gained 1.5% at Rs 2,304. Infosys and Reliance Communications are up nearly 1% each at Rs 2,222 and Rs 450, respectively.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,483 stocks traded so far, 1,444 have advanced, 995 have declined and 44 are unchanged.
