Sensex down 29pts; Bajaj, Guj Amb drop

The Sensex is now down 29 points at 14,389.

Gujarat Ambuja has shed 2% to Rs 117, and Bajaj Auto has dropped 1.8% to Rs 2,208.

SBI has slipped 1.5% to Rs 1,327. NTPC, Infosys and Reliance are down over 1% each to Rs 154, Rs 1,940 and Rs 1,744, respectively.

BHEL and Tata Steel have surged over 1.5% each to Rs 2,678 and Rs 633, respectively. HDFC Bank has advanced 1% to Rs 1,114.

Maruti and Ranbaxy are the other notable gainers.
