Sensex down 29pts; Ranbaxy gains 2%

The Sensex is now down 29 points at 14,479.

Ranbaxy has surged nearly 2% to Rs 398 on the back of Lipitor win case against Pfizer in Norway.

Larsen & Toubro has moved up 1% to Rs 1,875. BHEL is the other prominent gainer.

HDFC Bank, Hindalco, Bharti Airtel and ITC are down around 1% each at Rs 1,134, Rs 143, Rs 827 and Rs 164, respectively.
