Sensex down 30pts; Bajaj, Guj Amb down 2%

The Sensex is now down 30 points at 14,388.

Bajaj Auto has shed 2.4% to Rs 2,195. Gujarat Ambuja has dropped 2% to Rs 117.

Larsen & Toubro has slipped 1.5% to Rs 1,710. Infosys, NTPC and Bharti Aritel are down over 1% each at Rs 1,937, Rs 155 and Rs 842, respectively.

Maruti has rallied 1.8% to Rs 835. HDFC and HDFC Bank has surged 1.5% each to Rs 1,745 and Rs 1,121, respectively.

ACC, Tata Steel, Reliance Energy and BHEL are up around 1% each to Rs 882, Rs 629, Rs 557 and Rs 2,660, respectively.

Out of 2,575 stocks traded so far, 1,410 have declined, 1,083 have advanced and 82 are unchanged.
