Sensex down 31pts; ACC, Tata Steel firm

The Sensex is now down 31 points at 13,848.

ACC has surged nearly 2% to Rs 879. Tata Steel has gained 1.7% at Rs 561.

Reliance Communications, Ranbaxy and Grasim are up over 1% each at Rs 472, Rs 394 and Rs 2,500, respectively.

Hero Honda has dropped 3% to Rs 683. Infosys has slipped 1.5% to Rs 2,008.

Out of 2,480 stocks traded so far, 1,306 have declined, 1,083 have advanced and 91 are unchanged.
