Sensex down 325pts; ONGC slips 4%

The Sensex is now down 325 points at 19,706.

Bharti Airtel has plunged 6% to Rs 896. ONGC has tumbled over 4% to Rs 1,187.

Hindalco and Tata Motors have shed 3.4% each at Rs 205 and Rs 719, respectively.

HDFC Bank has slipped over 3% to Rs 1,674. NTPC and TCS have dropped 2.8% each to Rs 240 and Rs 1,015, respectively.

BHEL has declined 2.6% to Rs 2,495. SBI and Reliance Communications are down 2.3% each at Rs 2,354 and Rs 743, respectively.

Cipla has gained 2.4% at Rs 214. ITC has advanced over 2% to Rs 205.

Out of 2,864 stocks traded so far, 1,905 have advanced, 924 have declined and 35 are unchanged.
