Sensex down 336pts; REL, ICICI weak

The Sensex is now down 336 points at 14,203.

Hindalco has plunged 11.5% to Rs 153. Reliance Communications has tumbled 5% to Rs 452.

ICICI Bank and Reliance Energy have dropped 4.5% each to Rs 947 and Rs 531, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro, Ranbaxy and BHEL have shed 3% each to Rs 1,663, Rs 404 and Rs 2,430, respectively. NTPC is down 2.7% to Rs 141.

Out of 2,430 stocks traded so far, 2,152 have declined, 247 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
