Sensex down 33pts; ICICI Bank zooms 5%

The Sensex is now down 33 points at 19,026.

Infosys has plunged 3.3% to Rs 1,864. Hindustan Unilever and Mahindra & Mahindra have dropped 3% each to Rs 212 and Rs 810, respectively.

Bharti Airtel has shed 2.4% to Rs 1,100.

Larsen & Toubro, ONGC and SBI have slipped over 2% each to Rs 3,340, Rs 1,167 and Rs 1,918, respectively.

Grasim has dropped 1.7% to Rs 3,746, and Bajaj Auto has declined 1.5% to Rs 2,540.

Wipro, ITC, Hindalco, Cipla, Tata Steel, TCS, ACC and BHEL are down over 1% each.

ICICI Bank has zoomed 5.3% to Rs 1,155.

Reliance Energy has surged over 2% to Rs 1,888, and Satyam has gained 1.6% at Rs 450.

Reliance Communications is up 1% at Rs 760.

Out of 2,779 stocks traded so far, 1,609 have declined, 1,110 have advanced and 60 are unchanged.
