Sensex down 33pts; REL drops 3%

The Sensex is now down 33 points at 13,904.

Reliance Energy (REL) has dropped 2.7% to Rs 538. Tata Motors and Gujarat Ambuja have shed 1.7% each to Rs 867 and Rs 139, respectively.

ITC, Dr.Reddy's, ACC and Reliance Communications have advanced around 1.5% each to Rs 187, Rs 754, Rs 1,147 and Rs 451, respectively.

Cipla, Maruti and Larsen & Toubro are down over 1% each.

Hindalco has gained 1.3% at Rs 178. Infosys has advanced 1% to Rs 2,263.

Out of 2,535 stocks traded so far, 1,653 have declined, 812 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
