Sensex down 33pts; TCS, Infosys slips 2%

The Sensex is now down 33 points at 20,795.

SBI has surged 3.3% to Rs 2,518, and HDFC Bank has rallied 2.7% to Rs 1,810.

DLF has gained 2% at Rs 1,219. Reliance and Reliance Communications have moved up 1.5% each to Rs 3,176 and Rs 805, respectively.

BHEL has advanced 1.3% to Rs 2,468. Hindalco and Tata Motors are up over 1% each at Rs 205 and Rs 771, respectively.

Bharti Airtel has plunged 3.7% to Rs 930, and Wipro has tumbled 3% to Rs 471.

Ambuja Cements and Hindustan Unilever have shed around 2.5% each at Rs 135 and Rs 219, respectively.

TCS, Infosys and HDFC have slipped over 2% each to Rs 968, Rs 1,548 and Rs 2,995, respectively.

Maruti has dropped 1.7% to Rs 884. ICICI Bank, ACC and Satyam have declined 1.5% each to Rs 1,418, Rs 885 and Rs 405, respectively.

Grasim and Mahindra & Mahindra are down over 1% each at Rs 3,340 and Rs 767, respectively.
