Sensex down 33pts; TCS surges 5%

The Sensex is now down 33 points at 17,585.

The NSE Nifty is down eight points at 5,147.

Satyam has zoomed over 9% to Rs 462. TCS has soared 5% to Rs 928. Wipro has surged over 4% to Rs 429, and Infosys has gained 3.5% at Rs 1,623.

Hindalco has rallied over 4% to Rs 184, and Tata Steel has moved up 2.8% to Rs 794.

Grasim has added 2% to Rs 2,892.

HDFC has plunged 3.4% to Rs 2,658. BHEL has shed 2.8% at Rs 2,065, and SBI has slipped 2.2% to Rs 2,156.

HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank have declined 1.5% each to Rs 1,510 and Rs 1,149, respectively. ONGC is down 1% at Rs 993.
