Sensex down 35 pts

The Sensex continues to move in a narrow range of 6,410-6422 following sluggish trading in most of the counters. The Sensex is down 35 points at 6,420.

Infosys is down a per cent (Rs 15) at Rs 2,046. While Satyam, too, is down a per cent (Rs 3) at Rs 427, Wipro has lost 1.57% (Rs 10) at Rs 638.

SBI, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank are still trading with a per cent loss each at Rs 612, Rs 535 and Rs 390, respectively.

While ONGC is down Rs 4 at Rs 875, Reliance is down Rs 2 at Rs 542. ITC is up Rs 3 at Rs 1,471, after early weakness.

Cipla has inched up by Rs 2 to Rs 276. While Dr. Reddy's is down 1.77% (Rs 12) at Rs 653, Ranbaxy is trading weaker by Rs 5 at Rs 964.

L&T has shed 1.19% (Rs 12) to Rs 1,004, while Tata Power is down 1.21% (Rs 4) at Rs 363.

Hindalco is up a per cent (Rs 8) at Rs 1,209, and HPCL is up Rs 2 at Rs 327. Zee is up a rupee at Rs 153.
