Sensex down 35pts; Hindalco soars 5%

The Sensex is now down 35 points at 13,124.

ITC has slipped over 3% to Rs 167. HDFC Bank has dropped 2.5% to Rs 957.

Larsen & Toubro has shed 2% to Rs 1,509. TCS and Dr.Reddy's are down around 1% each.

Hindalco has soared nearly 5% to Rs 144. Grasim has surged 3% to Rs 2,221, and Gujarat Ambuja has added 2.4% to Rs 114. ACC has moved up 1.6% to Rs 890.

Hero Honda and Bajaj Auto have rallied over 2% each to Rs 682 and Rs 2,570, respectively.

Tata Steel has gained 1.5% at Rs 459. BHEL, Ranbaxy and ONGC are up over 1% each.
