Sensex down 38pts; Wipro drops 3%

The Sensex has slipped a bit and is now down 38 points at 20,178.

Ranbaxy has gained 1.7% at Rs 418.

Ambuja Cements and DLF have moved up 1.3% each to Rs 147 and Rs 1,023, respectively.

Mahindra & Mahindra, Reliance Energy and Tata Steel are up over 1% each at Rs 837, Rs 2,157 and Rs 916, respectively.

Wipro has plunged over 3% to Rs 532.

Bajaj Auto and Bharti Airtel have dropped 2% each to Rs 2,618 and Rs 947, respectively.

TCS has shed 1.7% at Rs 1,082, and HDFC Bank has slipped 1.5% to Rs 1,719.

Tata Motors and and ICICI Bank are down around 1% each at Rs 729 and Rs 1,231, respectively.

Out of 2,892 stocks traded so far, 2,089 have advanced, 772 have declined and 31 are unchanged.
