Sensex down 39pts; Satyam sheds 4%

The Sensex is now 39 points at 13,657.

Satyam has tumbled 4% to Rs 460. TCS has shed 2.6% to Rs 1,247. Wipro and Infosys have slipped over 2% each to Rs 574 and Rs 2,085, respectively.

Cipla and Tata Steel are down over 1% each at Rs 233 and Rs 528, respectively.

ACC has soared nearly 4% to Rs 809. Gujarat Ambuja has surged 2.3% to Rs 115, and Grasim has added 0.8% to Rs 2,395.

Reliance Energy has advanced over 2.3% to Rs 516. HDFC Bank has added 1.4% to Rs 985.

Reliance, Bharti Airtel and Larsen & Toubro are the other prominent gainers.
