Sensex down 3pts, banking scrips rally

 HDFC is up Rs 11 at Rs 1,560.

 SBI has gained nearly 1% (Rs 10) to Rs 1,137. HDFC Bank is up nearly 1% (Rs 8) at Rs 1,070. ICICI Bank is up over 1% (Rs 9) at Rs 866.

Declines continue to be ahead of advances - out of 2,242 scrips traded, 1,330 have declined and 848 have advanced.
