Sensex down 41pts; cement stocks surge

The Sensex is now down 41 points at 13,267.

ACC has soared nearly 3% to Rs 775. Grasim has surged 2.5% to Rs 2,132, and Gujarat Ambuja has added 2% to Rs 110.

Ranbaxy, Bharti Airtel and Dr.Reddy's are up around 1% each at Rs 337, Rs 790 and Rs 688, respectively.

ITC has shed 2.5% to Rs 145. HDFC Bank has slipped 1.7% to Rs 1,006, and ICICI Bank has declined 1.5% to Rs 885.

Satyam is down over 1% at Rs 461.
