Sensex down 41pts; Dr.Reddy's, REL up 2%

The Sensex is now down 41 points at 13,974.

ITC has shed 2.6% to Rs 171. Hindalco has dropped 2% to Rs 176.

Hero Honda has slipped 1.7% to Rs 765. HDFC Bank, HDFC, Wipro and Grasim are down around 1.5% each to Rs 1,050, Rs 1,583, Rs 612 and Rs 2,800, respectively.

Satyam, Tata Steel, Bajaj Auto and Cipla are down over 1% each.

Dr.Reddy's and Reliance Energy (REL) have advanced over 2% each to Rs 826 and Rs 536, respectively.

Ranbaxy and ICICI Bank have gained 1.3% each at Rs 418 and Rs 905, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro and Tata Motors are up 1% each at Rs 1,491 and Rs 948, respectively.

Out of 2,362 stocks traded so far, 1,497 have moved up, 799 have slipped and 66 are unchanged.
