Sensex down 41pts; NTPC, Rel Com up 3%

The Sensex has slipped back into the negative zone and is now down 41 points at 19,017.

Reliane Energy has zoomed 5% to Rs 1,941. ICICI Bank has soared 4.5% to Rs 1,146.

NTPC and Reliance Communications have surged nearly 3% each to Rs 233 and Rs 774, respectively.

TCS and ACC are up 1% each at Rs 1,086 and Rs 1,298, respectively.

Infosys has tumbled 3.5% to Rs 1,862. Mahindra & Mahindra has slipped 1.5% to Rs 822.

Hindalco, Wipro, ITC and Hindustan Unilever have dropped 1.3% each to Rs 186, Rs 486, Rs 185 and Rs 217, respectively.

ONGC, Grasim, Bajaj Auto and Maruti are down over 1% each at Rs 1,177, Rs 3,769, Rs 2,551 and Rs 1,148, respectively.
