Sensex down 42pts; breadth turns -ve

The Sensex is now down 42 points at 13,892.

Satyam has shed 2% to Rs 461. Wipro, Hindalco and Dr.Reddy's have slipped 1.5% each to Rs 559, Rs 146 and Rs 709, respectively.

Tata Motors is down 1.3% to Rs 723. Reliance Communications and Cipla are down 1% each at Rs 466 and Rs 215, respectively.

Reliance, Hero Honda and Ranbaxy are up 1.3% each at Rs 1,603, Rs 706 and Rs 387, respectively.

Out of 2,567 stocks traded so far, 1,280 have declined, 1,212 have advanced and 75 are unchanged.
