Sensex down 42pts, ONGC gains 1.5%

The Sensex has curtailed some losses, and is now down 42 points at 9,479.

HDFC is still down 2.6% (Rs 32) at Rs 1,218.

Infosys is still down over 2% (Rs 61) at Rs 2,750. Satyam, TCS and Wipro are also weak.

Tata Motors is now down over 2% (Rs 15) at Rs 644. Bajaj is still down Rs 24 at Rs 2,048. Hero Honda and Maruti continue to trade with losses.

ONGC has moved up 1.5% (Rs 18) to Rs 1,264. ITC is still up over 3% at Rs 152. HLL has moved into positive zone, and is up over a per cent (Rs 2) at Rs 188.
