Sensex down 42pts, Ranbaxy gains 2%

The Sensex is now down 42 points at 8,953.

HLL has dropped over 2% (Rs 5) to Rs 187.

BHEL is still down over 2% (Rs 31) at Rs 1,437. L&T is still down Rs 32 at Rs 1,682.

Ranbaxy has moved up over 2% (Rs 8) to Rs 388. Reliance Energy is still up Rs 10 at Rs 586.

Reliance is now up Rs 12 at Rs 859.

The BSE Capital Goods Index and FMCG Index have declined 1.5% each to 5,525 and 1,575, respectively. The BSE Oil & Gas Index has advanced over 1% to 4,219.
