Sensex down 42pts; tech stocks slip

 The index has now slipped into negative zone and is now down 42 points at 16,281.

ONGC has surged 1.7% to Rs 917.

Dr.Reddy's, Mahindra & Mahindra, NTPC, Bajaj Auto and Bharti Airtel are up over 1% each.

Infosys has shed 2.5% to Rs 1,807. TCS dropped 1.3% to Rs 1,009. Satyam and Wipro have slipped over 1% each to Rs 425 and Rs 443, respectively.
