Sensex down 43pts; BHEL gains 2%

The Sensex is now down 43 points at 14,600.

Bajaj Auto has shed 2.5% to Rs 3,006. Reliance Communications has dropped 1.5% to Rs 478.

ITC, Hindalco, HLL and Larsen & Toubro are down around 1% each at Rs 174, Rs 180, Rs 205 and Rs 1,728, respectively.

BHEL has rallied over 2% to Rs 2,545, and Reliance Energy has moved up 1.6% to Rs 568. SBI has advanced over 1% to Rs 1,210.

Out of 2,465 stocks traded so far, 1,266 have declined, 1,126 have advanced and 73 are unchanged.
