Sensex down 44pts; L&T, Rel Comm weak

The Sensex is now down 44 points at 12,500.

The Sensex is now down 60 points at 12,484.

Reliance Communications has tumbled nearly 3% to Rs 380. Larsen & Toubro has plunged over 2% to Rs 1460.

HLL, NTPC and Gujarat Ambuja are down around 1% each at Rs 175, Rs 139 and Rs 105, respectively.

Tata Motors has gained 1.7% at Rs 739. Dr.Reddy's has advanced over 1% to Rs 682.

Out of 2,099 stocks traded so far, 1,313 have declined, 729 have advanced and 57 are unchanged.
