Sensex down 46pts, Karnataka Bank drops 5%

The Sensex is still down 46 points at 7,241.

ONGC is now down 2.7% (Rs 26) at Rs 949. Reliance is also down over 2% (Rs 15) at Rs 630.

HDFC has declined over 2% (Rs 21) to Rs 909.

Cement and pharma scrips are trading on a weak note.

Infosys is steady at Rs 2,332 - down Rs 15. TCS is still up Rs 12 at Rs 1,331. Wipro is also up Rs 6 at Rs 741.

Oil PSU scrips are trading with losses. Chennai Petro has declined over 3% to Rs 185. BRPL, BPCL and HPCL are down over 1% each.

Karnatka Bank, which had zoomed over 20% yesterday, has dropped 5% to Rs 111.

Advances and declines are evenly matched - out of 2,266 scrips traded till now, 1,189 have advanced, 1,016 have declined and 61 are unchanged.
