Sensex down 46pts; Satyam slips 2%

The Sensex is now down 46 points at 12,228.

Satyam has slipped over 2% to Rs 841. ICICI Bank, Dr.Reddy's, HLL and Reliance Communications have dropped around 1.5% each to Rs 653, Rs 744, Rs 255 and Rs 339.

TCS, Infosys, Reliance Energy, ITC and Tata Motors are down over 1%.

Grasim has surged 2% to Rs 2,518. Gujarat Ambuja has advanced 1% to Rs 117.

Bharti Airtel and Reliance are the other smart gainers.

The market breadth is negative - out of 2,337 stocks traded so far, 1,473 have declined, 789 have advanced and 75 are unchanged.
