Sensex down 473pts; Grasim, ONGC big losers

The Sensex tumbled to a low of 10,186 - down 601 points. However, the index pulled back a bit following encouraging Q4 GDP numbers and is now down 473 points at 10,313.

Grasim has slumped 8.5% to Rs 1,717, and ONGC has shed 8% to Rs 1,084.

ITC has plunged 6.8% to Rs 165. Tata Steel and Hero Honda are down 6.3% each to Rs 513 and Rs 753, respectively.

Out of 2,242 stocks traded so far, 2,033 have declined, 180 have advanced and 29 are unchanged.
