Sensex down 479pts in morning deals

The Sensex is now down 479 points at 15,649.

The NSE Nifty is down 160 points at 4,712.

ACC has dropped Rs 32 to Rs 775. Bharti Airtel has slipped Rs 39 to Rs 772.

BHEL has plunged Rs 110 to Rs 1,906, and Grasim has shed Rs 93 at Rs 2,800. Larsen & Toubro has dropped Rs 102 to Rs 2,838.

Hindustan Unilever has slipped Rs 5 to Rs 217. NTPC has declined Rs 8 to Rs 187.

ONGC is down Rs 29 at Rs 985. Reliance Communications has slipped Rs 21 to Rs 419, and Reliance Energy has declined Rs 66 to Rs 1,262.

Reliance has dropped Rs 92 to Rs 2,284. SBI has shed Rs 54 to Rs 1,754. TCS is down Rs 39 at Rs 786.

Bajaj Auto, however, has gained Rs 27 at Rs 2,120.
