Sensex down 47pts; ONGC sheds 2%

The Sensex is now down 47 points at 13,919.

Satyam and Wipro have shed 2% each to Rs 453 and Rs 533, respectively. TCS has dropped 1.8% to Rs 1,227, and Infosys has shed 1.3% to Rs 1,976.

ONGC has declined nearly 2% to Rs 890. Bajaj Auto is down 1.5% at Rs 2,628.

Reliance is down over 1% at Rs 1,602.

BHEL has gained 1.5% at Rs 2,493. ICICI Bank has advanced 1.3% to Rs 881, and SBI has added 1% to Rs 1,217.

Out of 2,541 stocks traded so far, 1,231 have advanced, 1,217 have declined and 93 are unchanged.
