Sensex down 4pts; TCS drops 3%

The Sensex is now down four points at 15,586.

ITC has soared 3.7% to Rs 185. Ambuja Cements has surged 3.4% to Rs 145.

NTPC and Ranbaxy have rallied 1.8% each to Rs 191 and Rs 417, respectively. Reliance Energy has moved up 1.5% to Rs 864.

Reliance has advanced 1.3% to Rs 1,988, and SBI has added 1% to Rs 1,637.

TCS has tumbled nearly 3% to Rs 1,047. Wipro has shed 2.5% to Rs 466. Satyam has slipped nearly 2% to Rs 441, and Infosys has dropped 1.5% to Rs 1,879.

ONGC has plunged over 2% to Rs 832. Hindalco has shed 1.5% at Rs 155.

Out of 2,771 stocks traded so far, 1,629 have advanced, 1,081 have declined and 61 are unchanged.
