Sensex down 50pts; breadth +ve

The Sensex is now down 50 points at 14,086.

Satyam has shed 2.6% to Rs 463. Infosys has slipped 1.8% to Rs 2,022, and Wipro has declined 1.6% to Rs 545.

ICICI Bank, Tata Steel, TCS, Cipla and HLL are down around 1% each at Rs 940, Rs 573, Rs 1,214, Rs 237 and Rs 205, respectively.

Tata Motors has rallied 2.6% each to Rs 762. HDFC Bank has advanced 1.6% to Rs 1,030.

ACC, Maruti and SBI are up around 1% each at Rs 827, Rs 802 and Rs 1,144, respectively.

The market breadth is positive - out of 1,902 stocks traded so far, 1,022 have advanced, 822 have declined and 58 are unchanged.
