HLL, Hero Honda and Grasim have slipped around 2.5% each to Rs 191, Rs 697 and Rs 2,395, respectively.
SBI, ITC, Maruti and HDFC Bank declined over 2% each to Rs 1,357, Rs 155, Rs 761 and Rs 1,105, respectively.
Out of 2,549 stocks traded so far, 1,461 have declined, 1,004 have advanced and 84 are unchanged.
