Maruti has zoomed 2.4% to Rs 902. Gujarat Ambuja has slipped over 1% to Rs 119.
Satyam has slumped nearly 7% to Rs 813.
Tata Steel and Hindalco are down nearly 4% each at Rs 620 and Rs 208, respectively.
Reliance had dropped 3% to Rs 966.
Dr.Reddy's has slipped 2.7% to Rs 1,458. Wipro has declined 2.5% to Rs 542, and SBI is down over 2% to Rs 917.
Out of 2,495 stocks traded so far, 1,526 have declined, 897 have advanced and 72 are unchanged.
