Sensex down 54pts; SBI, Grasim move up 2%

The Sensex has once again staged a smart recovery and is now down 54 points at 9391.

SBI at Rs 930 and Grasim at Rs 1,450 have rallied 2% each.

ITC, Tata Motors, Satyam and Maruti have spurted over 1% each.

Infosys is down 4.4% at Rs 2,845.

HDFC, Reliance Energy and Ranbaxy are down 1.7% each at Rs 1,190, Rs 590 and Rs 387, respectively.

ONGC, Hindalco, Bajaj Auto, Tata Steel and Bharti Tele are also down over 1% each.

Out of 2,535 stocks traded so far, 1,185 have advanced, 1,279 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
