Sensex down 55pts; Reliance up 1%

The Sensex is now down 55 points at 13,640.

Bajaj Auto has rallied 2.5% to Rs 2,542. ACC has soared 2% to Rs 801, and Gujarat Ambuja has shed 1.6% to Rs 114.

Reliance has gained 1% at Rs 1,475.

Satyam has tumbled 4.5% to Rs 458. TCS has plunged 2.4% to Rs 1,249. Wipro and Infosys have slipped over 2% each to Rs 573 and Rs 2,082, respectively.

Tata Motors and Cipla have shed 2% each to Rs 735 and Rs 231, respectively.

Maruti has dropped 1.7% to Rs 764. ITC, HLL and ONGC are down 1% each at Rs 157, Rs 212 and Rs 891, respectively.

Out of 2,577 stocks traded so far, 1,422 have declined, 1,070 have advanced and 85 are unchanged.
