Sensex down 56pts; Bajaj Auto soars 3%

The Sensex is now down 56 points at 13,715.

HDFC and ACC have slipped over 2% each to Rs 1,640 and Rs 856, respectively. HLL has shed 1.8% to Rs 187.

ONGC, HDFC Bank, Cipla and Grasim have dropped around 1.5% each to Rs 875, Rs 996, Rs 205 and Rs 2,455, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro, ITC and Gujarat Ambuja are down over 1% each to Rs 1,668, Rs 162 and Rs 120, respectively.

Bajaj Auto has soared over 3% to Rs 2,695. Infosys has surged 1.6% to Rs 2,004, and TCS has rallied 1% to Rs 1,241.
